2020 Autumn Hair Trends

Yes my lovelies, it’s that time of year again… it’s Autumn. New season means new looks, and new trends. This season calls for brand new - brand new colour, cuts and  styles. What’s better is that you can be as experimental as you want when it comes to your wig, as there’s no risk to your actual hair. So, why not switch up this season with something different or something autumnal.

September and October are when most fashion brands host their autumn winter fashion shows to inspire you over the next few months, and here at CDB London we want to inspire you also. For obvious reasons, we can’t do a catwalk but what we can do is a blog post with the hottest trends for the cold-ish season.

Personally, I love Autumn. It’s the colours and the fashion for me. With the fashion you get to do winter style without being as cold (no need to wear heavy coats or tights). It’s elegant and sexy. Any good outfit is completed by the perfect hairstyle, it’s what ties everything together. So, maybe you’ve checked out some of the runaway shows and have gotten your outfit inspos but need some hairstyle guidance. Well hun, look no further.

When we think of Autumn we think of certain colours. I think of browns, burgundy and copper. Why not reflect the season’s colour in your next wig. You don’t have to go super bright, you can opt for the softer and subtle undertones. One of my CDB London favourite colours add on is pumpkin spice. The aptly named shade is perfect for this time of year. Or who says, you have to go for just one colour, live a little will ya. @Ebonycitychic mixed and layered brown and blonde, which was so stylish and glamorous. Or, you can take on the new popular trend of having two strands of blonde with the rest of the wig dark. There are so many options you can opt for in terms of colour this autumn.

Colour isn’t the only thing you can experiment with. The trends that have been seen on the most stylish of them all have been haircuts on the shorter end of the spectrum. I’m talking pixie cuts, blunt cut bobs and collarbone length hair. There’s something about these cuts that just screams fashion icon to me. CDB London is always on trend, we’ve got a range of bobs that can be altered to the length you want and are incredibly versatile. @Courtney.daniella styled her Kennedy wig in two different ways, which are super easy to recreate for the Autumn season.

Beach waves in autumn… yes please. This autumn is all about short and textured. We’re steering away from the bone straight hair and gearing towards loose waves that look almost shaggy, adding an edge to classic looks. Our Courtney wig in a shorter length is perfect if you want to achieve this look. Another personal favourite of mine is the ponytail for this season, you can add texture by getting some wavy bundles. @Hayleymulenda does it well in this look. What’s great is that this look is perfect for work or party and it lasts.

These are just a few looks that you can easily achieve and can help you stay stylish all autumn long. If you try any of these looks we’d love to see it! Tag us at @cdblondon for a chance to be featured on our page and newsletter!
